I love garlic, I don't really care about the garlicky breath after. So when M and I noticed this garlic themed restaurant in Greenbelt, I was very keen to try it out.

Parma Ham Roulade, P545 |
|
Prosciutto ham stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes, served with pesto and roasted garlic. This was our first course and we both loved it. I was excited to try out the rest of the dishes we ordered with this very promising start.

Rouge Seafood Coconut Curry, P415 |
Sauteed seafood with Thai red curry and fried banana. I would have loved this dish if the curry sauce was mixed properly. There were patches of mild flavors and patches of heat in the sauce. What turned out to be a good start, unfortunately quickly went downhill.

Garlicky Crispy Pata, P695 |
Crispy pata sprinkled with toasted garlic. It was not bad, but it wasn't extra ordinary either. The skin needed to be crispier as it was a bit rubbery.

Garlic Fried Rice, P125 |
This was a disappointment. The rice was salty and oily. It tasted like the garlic rice was old and then was refried to serve, hence the oiliness.

Crema Catalana, P125 |
Spanish style creme brulee with a twist of garlic. This was an utter disappointment. The creme brulee was too sweet and the garlic was bitter. The flavors did not blend well at all.

Pandora's Realm, P180 |
A blend of Guava and Lychee drink. Nice, sweet and refreshing.

Ginger-O P180 |
It was suppose to be orange juice with a ginger-ale soda but all I tasted was a very watered down OJ.
Krazy Garlic is crazily expensive in my book. I wouldn't have minded if the quality of the food and service matches the price but unfortunately it didn't.

I agree. We were disappointed with the food, not to mention overpriced!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with you. Their food is really not worth my money. Super expensive for such crappy food. We would have been happier if we just ate fast food instead.
