Chicken Charlie

After months of hearing such wonderful rave reviews about Chicken Charlie, I knew I just had to try it.  Unfortunately, since they close at 9pm, I have not been able to get here early enough, until recently, to try it out.

 This pretty small store is designed mainly for take-outs and not as a restaurant where you can sit, eat and hang.  The place can sit around 10 people snugly with another 2 seater table outside.

In reality, it's only 3 wings but they chopped off the small drumstick attached to the wings.

2 flavors to choose from: sweet chili and soy garlic

To distinguish one flavor from the other, they placed toothpicks on the sweet chili flavored chicken.  Otherwise you would have a pretty hard time distinguishing which is what flavor since the difference was pretty subtle.  The skin is VERY crispy and very flavorful but the meat inside was bland.  Best eaten with your hands so don't forget to bring wet wipes and hand sanitizers.
