Vietnamese cuisine being one of my top favorite, I was really excited about this food trip.
Shrimp and Pomelo Salad, P175 |
Fried Spring Rolls, P160 |
Vietnamese Fried Rice, P65 |
Grilled lemongrass Chicken, P205 |
Stir Fried Honey Spiced Beef with fried basil, P310 |
The Beef dish was nice on it's own. It tasted like a cross between Salpicao and Beef in Oyster Sauce. What really made this dish pop was the dipping sauce of pepper and lime.
The pepper and lime dipping sauce gave this beef dish another layer of flavor. Yum.
Deep Fried Catfish with Salad Greens, P210 |
Fresh Fruit served with Spiced Salt, P150 |
Pandan Cake w/ Mung Bean, P135 |
Before I went to visit Ba Noi's, I already heard some feedback about it- like a lot of items in the menu were out of stock. We found this to be disappointingly true since at one point we just had to ask our waitress what is in stock so we can hurry the process of ordering since every time we pick something she'd say it was not available. The veggie dish we ordered had to be canceled because after waiting for some time and following it up, we were told it was also not in stock.

Hi! Maybe you should try rating the restaurants according to food, service and presentation. Do you give this 3 stars?

the catfish was whole for presentation purposes daw, making it difficult to eat. sayang.
ReplyDeletes, i'd give it a 1 since most of what we wanted were unavailable. maybe we should go back and try their pho, if it's available :)
S, I don't believe in rating restos, you know, people should form their own opinion on whether or not they like the offerings of a certain restaurant. This blog is just a way to make kwento of our experiences and thoughts and not really to judge the establishments featured here.
